John F. Maish

John F. Maish, 74, of New Paris, OH, died, Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Reid Health in Richmond, IN. Born on May 17, 1942 in Richmond, IN. John was a professional sign artist in the New Paris area and in Arizona. A 1960 Jefferson Twp. High School graduate, U.S. Army Vietnam veteran and earned his Associate Degree in Business from Pima Community College. Preceded in death by his Father: Frederick W. Maish in 1990.

Survived by his Mother: Josephine (Lindamood) Maish; Children: Sandra (LD) Jackson, Catheryn Ryan-Fotoplos; John C. Maish and Michael Maish; Siblings: Patricia Sue Foust, David W. Maish, Morton S. (Sandy) Maish, Barbara Jo (Jim) Patrick and Cindy Kay (David) McClanhan. 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main St., New Paris, OH with Pastor Rodney Dunn officiating. Interment with full military services by the Preble County Honor Guard will be held in Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris. Family will receive friends on Monday, January 23, 2017 from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
