John F. Lund

John F. “Tex” Lund, age 86, of New Paris, Ohio died Thursday, June 3, 2004 at Heartland of Eaton, Ohio. Born on September 13, 1917 in Washington County, Illinois he was the son of the late John F. & Mary E. (Robinson) Lund. He was a W.W. II U.S. Navy veteran and a Truck Driver for Complete Auto Transit. Life member of American Legion Post #360 of New Paris, Ohio. Preceded in death by a Sister and Step Sons: Clinnie R. Bach in 2004 and Earnest Stanley Bach in 1989.

Survivors: Wife: Marie (Maupin) Bach Lund; Daughters: Brenda, Beverly and Sandra. Son: Gary Lund of Texas; Step Daughters: Brenda C. King of Brookville, Ohio and Wanda L. Melody of New Paris, Ohio; Step Son Farrell D. Bach of North Carolina. Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. (Ohio Time) Monday, June 7, 2004 at Dayton National Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio with military honors provided by the U.S. Navy.
