Joanne M. Marcum

Joanne M. Marcum, age 73, of Somerville, OH, passed away Monday, October 17, 2011 at the Garden Manor Extended Care Center in Middletown, OH. Born on October 5, 1938 in Somerville, OH she was the daughter of the late Wesley W. & Anne Mae (Homan) Hartman. She was raised by her mother Peggy Hartman and was a Stewart High School graduate in Oxford, Ohio and has lived in Somerville most all of her life. She attended the Somerville Presbyterian Church. Preceded in death by her husband: Philip R. "Curly" Marcum in 1982; son: Randall G. "Randy" Marcum in 2007; brothers: Wesley W. Hartman, Jr., Robert Hartman and Merle Joseph Hartman; sister: Alberta Christian.

Survived by sons & daughters-in-law: Philip Ronald "Ron" Marcum, Jr. of Ohio; Robert Wesley "Wes" & Sueann Marcum and Ricky Lee "Rick" & Barbara Marcum both of Somerville, OH; brother: Rev. James Hartman of Fairborn, OH; sisters: Helen Tucker of Lima, Ohio and Dorothy Roark of Florida; 7 grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, October 21, 2011 at the Somerville United Presbyterian Church in Somerville, OH with Rev. James Hartman officiating. Interment will be in Somerville Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Friday, October 21, 2011 from 11:00 to 1:00 P.M. prior to the service at the church.
