Joann "Jojo" Johnson

JoAnn “JoJo” Johnson, age 69, of Richmond, Indiana, died Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at her residence. Born on March 22,1952 in Jasper, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Joe David, Sr. and Alvina (Casteel) Holloway of New Paris, Ohio.

JoAnn loved her cats, puzzle books, country music and all the children she babysat over the years, and especially her husband Larry.

Preceded in death by her Mother, Alvina (1998) and Father, Joe (2017).

Survived by her husband of 50 years, Larry G. Johnson. Two sisters, Peggy (Billie) Williams of Northport, AL, Trish (Michael) McGriff of New Paris, OH, and brother, Joe D. Jr. (Dawnmari) Holloway of New Paris, OH. Nieces/Nephews, Heather Woodall, Holly (Michael) Breen, Kara Holloway, Matthew Snyder, Joe D. Holloway, III, Kindra and Katelyn Holloway, and Morgan McGriff. And Many Great Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 17, 2021, at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, OH with Rev. James Sizelove officiating. Interment will be held in Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris. Family will receive friends on Friday, one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
