Joan M. Wohlfrom

Joan M. (Schomaker) Wohlfrom, 88 of Camden, Ohio died Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at her residence. Joan was born on July 24, 1936, in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles A. & Rose (Menke) Schomaker. She and her husband had lived in Englewood, Florida prior to moving to Preble County, Ohio and attended Visitation Catholic Church in Eaton, Ohio.

Preceded in death by her husband of 59 years: Melvin C. Wohlfrom in 2016, Sisters: Rosella Schultz and Marian Olding; Brother: Charles J. Schomaker.

She is survived by her children: Martha R. & David Mersch of Maineville, Ohio, Mildred V. & Dennis Stall of Richmond, Ohio, Melvin R. & Tammy Wohlfrom of Dillsboro, Indiana, Mark R. & Sharon Wohlfrom of Mooreshill, Indiana, and Margie R. & Steve Rumpke of Camden, Ohio, 13 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Sisters: Ruth Wright of Florida and Rita Carleton of Indiana 

Funeral Mass will be held 12:00 P.M. on Friday, January 24, 2025, at the St. John the Baptist Church 5361 Dry Ridge Road Cincinnati, Ohio 45252 with Rev. Don West officiating. Family will receive friends from 11:00 to 12:00 prior to the mass at the church. Interment will be held in St. John Cemetery next to the church.
