Joan M. Keller

JOAN M. KELLER, 84 of New Paris, OH, died Friday, March 8, 2013 at her residence. Joan was born on December 7, 1928 in Richmond, IN the daughter of the late Harry & Rosella (Bussen) Zartman. Joan retired from Visitation Catholic Church in Eaton where she was the church secretary for 20 years. Joan was a member of the St. John's Catholic Church in New Paris, the St. Ann Altar Sodality and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her great grandson, Jacob Deacon in 2005.

Joan is survived by her husband of 67 years, John H. Keller, Jr. and their children, Lynn (David) White of Texas, Jan (Michael Kevin) Nieberding, Vicki Keller, John III (Rhonda) Keller all of Eaton, OH and Gail Keller (CeCe Kennison) of New Paris; sister, Carol Ann Cerqua of McMinnville, OR; grandchildren: Lisa Wolf, Julie Maurer, John Webb, Jennifer Webb, Lesley Wright and Natalie Maynard; eleven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 11, 2013 at St. John's Catholic Church, North Spring Street, New Paris, OH with Rev. J. Thomas Fitzsimmons officiating. Interment will be held in Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 11, 2013 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main Street, New Paris, OH 45347.
