Joan B. Vanzant

Joan B. Vanzant, 78 of New Paris, OH died Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at her residence. Born on July 25, 1937 in Wayne County, Indiana she was the daughter of the late James & Millie (White) Bulmer. She was preceded in death by a son: Gary C. Vanzant in 1965; sisters: Ruth Burt in 2012, Doris Bulmer and Jean Smith; brothers: Robert J. Bulmer, Harlin E. Bulmer, Roger D. Bulmer, Virgil C. Bulmer and David Bulmer.

Survived by her husband of 53 years: O.C. Vanzant; sons & daughters-in-law: Edward M. & Beth Vanzant of New Paris, OH and Coy C. & Sharon Vanzant of Edinburgh, IN; sisters: Marjorie Black of Hagerstown, IN and Joyce Mock of Bluffton, IN; brother: Vernon L. Bulmer of Hagerstown, IN; grandson: Johnny & Jody Vanzant.

Family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Barnes Funeral Home 109 West Main Street New Paris, OH. The funeral Service will be 10:00 AM Friday, July 22, 2016 at the funeral home with Tim Tudor officiating. Interment will be in Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris, OH.
