Jo A Dailey

Jo A Dailey, age 80, of Eaton, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her residence on Wednesday, August 23, 2023.  Born on March 20, 1943 in Weston, West Virginia, daughter of the late Damon & Cleo (Wilson) Starcher.

Jo married the love of her life, Jacob W. “Jake” Dailey on December 27, 1968.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  Jo was an avid genealogist.  She received an associate’s degree in computer programming at Ivy Tech in Richmond, Indiana.  Jo was a very candid person as well.

Preceded in death by son, Jason Dailey in 1993.

Survived by her husband of 54 years, Jacob W. “Jake” Dailey of Eaton, Ohio; daughter, Kelley (Todd) Dillon of Hamilton, Ohio; grandchildren, Ashley (Justin) Burns, Celeste (Kyle) Haggard, Miranda (Robert) Barber, Derek (Kailey) Dillon and Kylah (James) Sparkman; great grandchildren, Tanner, Myrcedez, Kynnedy, Jaedyn, Nevaeh, Konnor, Eli, Xavier, Merric, Anna, Noah, Hugh, Faith and Bren; niece, Jill Lockvis; sister-in-law, Judy Dailey; nephew, Kyle Dailey.

Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio with her family sharing memories and celebrating her life.  Family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, prior to the funeral. Private Interment will be held at the Dayton National Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio.
