Jill Frances (Weppner) Gurgos

Jill Frances (Weppner) Gurgos, age 57, of New Paris, Ohio and formerly of Illinois, died on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.  Born on July 27, 1966 in Chicago, Illinois.  

Jill retired after many years of working with the Fire Service in Illinois.  After retirement Mark & Jill spent their remaining time together next to a lake in their dream house that Jill designed.

Preceded by her mother, Arlene Dorothy (Ziegenhorn) Weppner; sister, Arlene Kallien.

Survived by her husband of 16 years, Mark Gurgos; children & spouses, Brandon & Sara Bywater, Carlie & Tim LaGray, and Dan Gurgos; father, Frederick F. Weppner; siblings & spouses, Lori & Dan Palmer, Julie & Kyle Ortberg, Mary & John Kendzora, and Fred & Erin Weppner; grandchildren, Bailey, Zoe, and Wren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date in Illinois.
