JERRY M. JUDAY, age 73 of West Alexandria, Ohio left this earth to be with Jesus on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at his home with his family after battling a long illness. Born on November 5, 1940 in Richmond, Indiana and lived in New Paris, OH most of his life. He was the son of the late Edward O. "Kink" & Martha Mae (Jones) Juday. Jerry was a 1960 graduate of New Paris Jefferson High School and served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War and was the Co-Owner/Operator of Jones & Juday, Inc. of New Paris. Member of the New Paris Jaycees, American Legion of New Paris and was an Eagle Scout. He collected Indian artifacts and participated in Archeological Digs with his mother. He loved spending time with his family and he loved to fish and mushroom hunt. Preceded in death by brothers: James E. Juday in 2009 and Jack E. Juday in 2011; sister: Jannan O. Juday in 1956; great grandson: Lane Pipenger in 2003.
Survivors: loving wife: Jo Ann (Elliott) Juday; Children: Kimberly Jo (Nick) Craft of West Alexandria, OH; Rodney Michael (Sheri) Reynolds of New Paris, OH and Lelia Marianne "Annie" (Tad) Pipenger of Centerville, IN; grandchildren: Adam (Danielle) Craft, Holden (Caitlin) Craft, Jacob (Stacey) Craft, Nathan Craft, Abigail Craft, Hosanna Craft, Seth Craft, Justus Craft, Noble Craft, Michaela Reynolds, Megan Reynolds, Moriah Reynolds, McKenzie Reynolds, Jesse Reynolds, Julia Reynolds, M. Scottie (Amy) Pipenger, James Pipenger, Kenneth Pipenger, Hayley Pipenger; Great Grandchildren: Adam Craft Jr., Owen Craft, Haley Mullins, Presley Pipenger; Nephews: Jason Juday, Eric Juday, Patrick (Krenta) Juday; Niece: Jeryl Juday-Sims; Great-Nephews: Joshua Sims & Brandon Juday. The Family will receive friends on Sunday, November10, 2013 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at Barnes Funeral Home 109 West Main Street New Paris, Ohio. A Celebration of Life Service will be 10:00 AM on Monday, November 11, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in New Paris, Ohio with Rev. Wes Brubaker officiating. Interment will be in Springlawn Cemetery – New Paris, Ohio with full military services provided by the Preble County Honor Guard.
