Jerry Lee Hargis

Jerry Lee Hargis, age 78 of Lewisburg, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Kettering Health Preble in Eaton, Ohio. Born on April 12, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio, son of the late Vola “Bud” Lee & Ruth Ailene (Head) Hargis.

A 1962 graduate of Lewisburg High School. He worked on dad’s farm in Lewisburg for many years and was a life-time farmer. He was also a self-employed excavator. Past Harrison Township Trustee. Member of the Lewisburg Trailriders Sportsmen Club. He enjoyed going to the Cincinnati Bengals games and NASCAR races with his buddies.

Survived by his daughter, Debbie (Hargis) DeMaris; son, Mike Hargis; granddaughter, Cassie & Steve Canale; brothers & sisters-in-law, Jim & Bev Hargis and John Hargis; nieces & nephews, Becky, Seth, Erica and Crystal; great niece, Jasmine.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Trailriders Clubhouse, 6467 Knapke Lane, Lewisburg on Sunday, August 7, 2022 from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.
