Jerry J. Lee

Jerry J. Lee, 84 of Eaton, Ohio and formerly of New Paris, Ohio died Friday, March 7, 2025, at Kettering Medical Center in Kettering, Ohio. Jerry was born on October 21, 1940, in Richmond, Indiana, son of the late Joseph Ervin and Alice Lorene (Juday) Lee. He was a 1958 graduate of Jefferson High School, Jefferson Township, Preble County, Ohio, where he was a 5-year letterman in basketball, a 4-year letterman in track and baseball and played trumpet in the high school band. A pipefitter by trade, Jerry was a lifetime member of the Local 162 Pipefitters Union and retired from The Mound in Miamisburg, Ohio, where he held many supervisory roles for 16 years. He delivered mail in New Paris for 13 years and was a 50 plus year Master Mason of the Fellowship Lodge #106 in New Paris.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert E. “Bob” Lee in 2017, sister-in-law, Peggy Lee in 2011 and his brother-in-law, Phillip Schwab.

Survived by his wife of 62 years, Pamela J. (Schwab) Lee; sons and daughters-in-law, Todd and Teri Lee and Steven and Emily Lee; grandchildren, Kayla (Mike)Goetz, Samantha Lee (Ryan Newton), Jacob Lee (Emily Turner), Nicole (Daniel) Bailey and Chris (Hannah) Kimmel; great grandchildren, Teddy and Archer Goetz, Wyatt Rowe, Waylon Newton, Amelia Washam, Joslynn Bailey and Kaylee Kimmel; sister-in-law, Penny Schwab Turner; nieces, Christina (Toby) Brandenburg and Linda (Roger) Davis.

Memorial Service will be held 6:00 P.M. on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main Street, New Paris, Ohio with Pastor Rodney Dunn officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family in Spring Lawn Cemetery, New Paris .
