Jerry L. Tucker

Jerry L. Tucker, age 69, of Lewisburg, OH, died Monday, July 12, 2010 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton. Born on August 26, 1940 in Preble County, Ohio the son of the late Joe W. & Laura Jane (McConnaughey) Tucker. Jerry was a 1958 Lewisburg High School grad; and received a Associate Degree in Business from Miami Jacobs College in 1960. He retired from General Motors Truck & Bus in 1995 after 30 years of service. He had been a Ohio State Patrol Dispatcher and Driver License Examiner in Montgomery County. Member of the Lewisburg United Church of Christ. Preceded in death by Son: Michael A. Tucker in 2003.

Survived by Wife of 49 years: JoAnne (Elliott) Tucker; Son & Daughter-In-Law: Martin & Deborah Tucker of Lewisburg, OH; Brothers & Sister-In-Law: Joey Tucker and Jon & Bonnie Tucker both of Lewisburg, OH; 2 Grandchildren: Taylor & Taryn Tucker; Niece & Nephews.

Funeral Service will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, July 17, 2010 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce Street, Lewisburg, OH 45338 with Rev. David Justice officiating. Family will receive friends on Friday, July 16, 2010 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, Ohio.
