Jennie E. Jones

JENNIE E. JONES, age 85 of New Paris, Ohio died Tuesday, June 10, 2003, at her residence. Born on August 5, 1917 in New Paris, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Earl and Lillie (Shurte) Bradshaw. She attended Jefferson Schools and in addition to caring for her home and farm she worked at Flora’s Poultry in Eaton, Ohio. Member and Past President of the Triple L in New Paris and the Senior Citizens of New Paris. She is preceded in death by her Husband: Seymour Casey Jones in 1970; Grandchildren: Carol Elizabeth Wethington in 1967 and Charles Frederick Wethington in 1978; Brother: Robert F. Bradshaw in 1990, Step Sister: Alberta Knox.

Survived by her Daughter & Son-in-law: Martha & Joe Wethington of New Paris, OH; Sons and Daughters-in-law: Charles & Phyllis Jones of New Paris, OH and Frederick E. & Ellen Jones of Eaton, OH; Brother & Sister-in-law: Charles P. & Marguerite Bradshaw of New Paris, OH; Sister: Cosetta Collins of Eaton, OH; Nephew & Spouse: Bill & Bonnie Jones of New Paris, OH; Six Grandchildren and Seven Great Grandchildren. Many other Nieces and Nephews. In addition to her immediate family Jennie had been a caregiver to many family members.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 13, 2003 - 1:00 P.M. (Ohio Time) at Barnes Funeral Home-109 West Main Street, New Paris, Ohio 45347 with Rev. Lowell T. Spencer officiating. Interment will be held in Springlawn Cemetery, New Paris, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Friday, June 13, 2003 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. (Ohio Time) at the funeral home.
