Jeannie Fudge

Carol Jean "Jeannie" Fudge, 71, of Eaton, Ohio, passed away peacefully early Friday morning; June 20, 2014 surrounded by her family and loved ones at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana.

Jeannie was born on February 18, 1943 in Richmond, Indiana to the late John X. & Alma G. Neiser.

She worked as a supervisor for Baxter Healthcare for 30 years before she retired and joined the American Legion Post #322 in West Alexandria as a member and Canteen Manager.

Her most significant accomplishments were not professional but those in her personal life of which she was most proud. She was the matriarch of her family, not just for her children but her grand-children as well. She anchored them, kept them strong and together. She enriched the lives of her family and they will continue to honor her memory for years to come.

She is survived by the Father of her children and Life-Long friend: Keith Fudge of Eaton, her lovely children: Chris Fudge (Laura) of Manhattan Beach, California, Scott Fudge (Tammy), Lori Fudge-Boomershine (Donald Grubb), Wendy Fudge-Koeller (Toby Koeller) all of Eaton. Her beloved Grandchildren: Jeremy Fudge, Jake Fudge, Zach Paulus, Nick Boomershine, Austin Fudge, Kelsey Boomershine, Shelby Fudge and Hannah Paulus. She is also survived by her two brothers: Carl Beyer (Roberta) of Kettering, Ohio and John Neiser of Dayton, Ohio; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, June 25, 2014 Barnes Funeral Home, 220 E. Main St., Eaton, Ohio with Bishop Jeff Baker officiating. Interment will be held at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Condolences via www.barnesfuneralhome.com
