Jeanette Hapner

M. Jeanette "Janie" Hapner, 86, of Lewisburg, OH, died Thursday, February 1, 2018 in Eaton, OH. Born on February 18, 1931 in Preble County, OH, she was the daughter of the late David S. and Mildred (Christian) Bolen. She was a 1949 Monroe Twp. High School graduate, had worked at the Brown Memorial Library for 12 years and has been a member of Wares Chapel United Methodist Church for over 50 years. Preceded in death by her Husband: Franklin Hapner in 1985; Sisters: Marjorie P. Meyer in 1961 and Doris J. Robbins in 1989. 

Survived by Son & daughter-in-law: David (Marcy) Hapner; Daughter & son-in-law: Diana (Tom) Combs; Grandchildren: Nathan (Jennifer) Hapner, Amanda (Josh) Koger, Samantha (Kevin) Carter and Jeff (Kris) Melton; Great Grandchildren: Alex, Madison and Savannah Hapner, Owen Koger. Nieces and Nephews.    

Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Wares Chapel United Methodist Church, 1060 Foos Rd, West Manchester, OH with Pastor Laura Thomas officiating. Interment will be held in Wares Chapel Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Monday, February 5, 2018 from 4 – 7 P.M. at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH and one hour prior to service at the church on Tuesday.
