Jean K. Stamback

Jean K. (Ferriell) Stamback, 87 of Eaton, OH died on Monday, February 27, 2017 at Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton, OH. Born on October 11, 1929 in Preble County, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Florence (Mannigel) Ferriell.

Jean was a 1947 graduate of Eaton High School and attended Miami University in Oxford, OH. She was a member of Visitation Catholic Church in Eaton, OH and St. Anne's Sodality. Preceded in death by her husband of 64 years: William J. Stamback in 2016; Brothers: Alton, Merlin, Jennings and Dave Ferriell; sister: Helen Jordan.

Survived by daughters: Sally & Nick Peters of Greensburg, IN, Peggy & Rick Sauerland of New Paris, OH and Patty & Jay Wolfe of Delaware, OH; 6 grandchildren, Natalie (Travis) Scheibler, Justin (Leah) Peters, Rachel (Will) Abner, William Sauerland (Thomas Nelson), Jonathan (Sarah) Wolfe and Bonnie (Brandon) LeBeau; 6 great-grandchildren, Lillian, Brock, Amelia, Caroline, Lucas, and Sarah.

Rosary Service will be 4:00 PM Friday, March 3, 2017 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 E. Main St., Eaton, OH and the family will receive friends from 4:30 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Visitation Catholic Church, 407 E. Main St., Eaton, OH. Interment will be at Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris, OH.
