Jason Lee Tamplin, Sr.

Jason Lee Tamplin, Sr., age 37 of Sidney, Ohio died Thursday morning April 2, 2009 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, OH of injuries he received when he was struck by a northbound freight train at the North Street CSX Railroad crossing in Sidney Ohio early Thursday morning. Jason was born on March 4, 1972 in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio and had lived in Lewisburg, Ohio.

Survivors: Father: Robert E. Tamplin of Lewisburg, OH and Mother: Sharon Roderick of Versailles, OH.; former wife: Christine Tamplin of Sidney, OH; Son: Jason Lee Tamplin, Jr. of Sidney, Oh; Daughter: Bryanna D. Tamplin of Sidney, OH; Brothers: Robert Wayne Tamplin of Versailles, OH and Chad Eller of Greenville, OH; Sister: Deanna Moles of Eaton, OH; several nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at Barnes Funeral Home - 411 North Commerce Street - Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. Kenneth Harbaum officiating. Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, OH.
