Janice Reed

Janice Reed, age 88 of Verona, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 17, 2025 at Hospice of Dayton. Born on March 5, 1936 in Gettysburg, Ohio, daughter of the late Myron R. & Cleo M. (Brinkman) Hahn. 

She was a Preble County farmer for her entire life. She had worked at Greenville National Bank, Montgomery Ward in Brookville, Ohio, US Bankruptcy Court in Dayton, Ohio and at Brookville National Bank.

Member of Trinity Church for many years.

Preceded by her husband of 67 years, Vincent Darrell Reed in 2022.

Survived by her children, Steve (Debra) Reed, Jana (Richard) Dawson & Keith (Rebecca) Reed; grandchildren, Max (Becky) Reed, Logan (Kelly) Reed, Henry Dawson, Justin Dawson, Benjamin Dawson, Lincoln (Gabby) Reed, and Olivia Reed; many beloved family members and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce Street, Lewisburg, Ohio with Pastor Gary Sollenberger officiating. Interment will be held at Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, Ohio. Family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Saturday at the funeral home.
