Janice M. Rediger

Janice M. Rediger, age 78, of Lewisburg, OH, died Thursday, October 13, 2005 at Hospice of Dayton. Born on February 28, 1927 in Twin Township, Preble County, OH, she was the daughter of the late John F. & Ruth V. (Farr) Purnhagen. Janice was a active member of the Twin Valley Grange #657; Harrison Township Homemakers; Charter member of Lewisburg Promenaders and Lewisburg United Methodist Church. Her husband of 54 years, John W. B. Rediger died in 2001.

Survived by three sons & daughter-in-law: James R. & Deborrah Rediger and Thomas R. Rediger both of Lewisburg, OH and Richard L. Rediger of Naples, FL. Daughter & son-in-law: Linda & Larry Aukerman of Eaton, OH. Brother: John Purnhagen of TN. Eight grandchildren: Ryan Rediger, Nicholas Rediger, John Rediger, Andrea Rediger, Heather Pierce, Larry Aukerman, Lisa Aukerman and Luke Aukerman. Five great grandchildren: LaShanda Pierce, Hailey Aukerman, Kaitlyn Rediger, Madison Lewis and Henry Charles Pierce, Jr. Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 17, 2005 - 10:30 AM (Ohio Time) at Lewisburg United Methodist Church - 3147 U.S. Route 40 East - Lewisburg, OH with Rev. Michael D. Pratt officiating. Interment will be held in Sugar Grove Cemetery - West Alexandria, OH. Family will receive friends on Sunday, October 16, 2005 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM (Ohio Time) with Grange Services at 5:45 PM at Barnes Funeral Home - 411 North Commerce St. - Lewisburg, OH.
