Janet I. Arthur

Janet I. Arthur, 90, of Eaton, Ohio, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2025 at Reid Health in Richmond, Indiana. Born on February 14, 1935 in New Paris, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Nellie (Upton) Arnett. Janet was a 1953 graduate of Jefferson Township High School in New Paris and was a member of the St Paul United Methodist Church in New Paris. Janet had worked at the City Restaurant in New Paris for many years. She had also worked for 32 years at Barnes Funeral Home in New Paris. She loved crossword puzzles, search books, puzzles and NHRA Top Fuel Racers.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her Daughter: Rebecca Elaine “Becky” Arthur; Sister: Ruth Lavonne Arnett; Brothers: Robert Arnett, Myron Arnett, Duane Arnett, James Arnett, and an infant brother.

Survived by her Husband of 71 years: W. Stanley Arthur; Daughter & Son-in-law: Tina (Mark) Marino; Twin Sister: Janice Miller; Grandchildren: Vincent (Clarissa) Marino and Michael Marino; Great Grandchildren: Kylar and Kali. Many Nieces, Nephews, and a host of friends.

Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, March 13, 2025 in Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris with Pastor Rodney Dunn officiating.
