Jamie L. Steele

Jamie L. Steele, 33 of Eaton, OH, died Sunday, May 8, 2016 in Eaton, OH. Jamie was born on July 31, 1982 in Lee County, FL, son of Billy Joe Steele & Patty (Springer) Lawson. Jamie graduated from National Trail High School. He had worked at Larkin Cobb Chevrolet Buick GMC in Eaton, OH for many years. Jamie loved to work on cars and was very active in car clubs and member of BB Alliance Car Club.

Preceded in death by his father, Billy Joe Steele, Jr. in 2002.

Survived by his mother & step father, Patty & Tom Lawson of Greenville, OH; son, Zach Steele; step sisters, Sacha (Zach) Pollitt and Rochelle Lawson; step brother, Paul Lawson; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews & many friends.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 13, 2016 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main St., New Paris, OH. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home in New Paris. Interment will be held in Springlawn Cemetery, New Paris, OH.
