James Rose

JAMES ROSE, age 83, of Eaton, Ohio, died Monday, August 30, 2010, at his residence. Born on December 7, 1926 in Estill County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Elisha and Martha Rose. Jim retired in 2007 from Pease Outlet at Hamilton, Ohio after 60 years as a Carpenter. Jim grew up on a farm and was an avid gardener, he enjoyed giving away produce to his family and friends, and he loved to cook, especially for those he loved.

Preceded in death by his wife, Martha (Rader) Rose in 1962 and grandson, Cody Rose in 2002.

Survived by his children & spouses, Lavaine & Dale Haney of Eaton, Ohio, James D. Rose of New Paris, Ohio, Ginny Rose of Eaton, Ohio, Ann & Paul Turner of Georgia, Ricky Rose of Eaton, Ohio and Jeff Rose of New Paris, Ohio; grandchildren, Marissa Haney, Chad Rose, Jason Rose, Justin Rose, Andrea Martin, Matthew Burgess, Alex Burgess, Cori Turner, Cassi Teague, Conan Erisman, Londa Rose and Charles Rose; many great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio 45320.

Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio 45320.
