James R. Thomas, Sr.

JAMES R. THOMAS, SR., age 68 of Lewisburg, OH died Thursday, July 24, 2003 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton. Born on June 13, 1935 in Dayton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Thomas A. & Cora May (Mann) Thomas. He worked for Tri-State Matchplate & Casting in Lewisburg since the 1980's. He played the guitar in the area for many years.

Thomas, Jr., Lewisburg, Ohio; Brothers: Jerry Thomas, Sidney, Ohio, Gene Thomas, Englewood, Ohio, Owen “Bud” Thomas, Cleveland, Ohio; Sisters: Beulah Sizemore, West Union, Ohio, Dorothy Sturgeon, Dayton, Ohio; Grandchildren: Zachary, Staci, Adreanna & Allie Maria Thomas.

Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, July, 27, 2003 - 5:00 P.M. (Ohio Time) at the Barnes Funeral Home - 411 North Commerce Street - Lewisburg, OH with Rev. Gary Hosbrook officiating. Interment will be held in Concord Cemetery, Englewood, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Sunday, July 27, 2003 from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. (Ohio Time) at the funeral home.
