James R. Mckee

James R. "Jim" McKee, 74 of Lewisburg, OH died Wednesday, December 10, 2020 at Grandview Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Jim was born on October 14, 1946 in Manchester, Ohio son of, Roy S. & Dora L. (Scott) McKee.  Jim established Sarah’s Pizza & Subs in 1990 and after 30 years sold his business in 2019. Jim was the co-owner of Valz Place Restaurant in Lewisburg in 2020.  

Jim was a beloved "dad" and friend to many and touched so many lives, he loved the Lewisburg community and all the area farmers & police officers who would stop at the restaurant over the years. 

Preceded by his Father, Roy S. McKee; Brother, Donald Wayne McKee; Niece, Malinda McKee.  

Survived by his mother, Dora L. (Scott) McKee; siblings, Roberts S. (Melinda) McKee, Maryetta P. (Alva) Ridgeway, John R. McKee and Thomas S. McKee; sister-in-law, Mary McKee; girlfriend of 27 years, Valerie Croft and her children, Aaron Spurlock, Charles Spoonemore, Travis Lavine and Daniel Croft; children, Melissa "Missy" Daniels, Sarah (Rick) Fox and James "Rick" McKee, Jr.; grandchildren, Zack, Taylor, Taylin, Ashley, Leslie, Bryce, Kyle, Sophia, Olivia, Emily, Molly, Dylan; several great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Family and friends gathering will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH.
