James M. Hardin

JAMES M. HARDIN, age 75, of Eaton, OH, died suddenly Thursday July 20, 2006 at his residence. Born on April 10, 1931 in Loretto, KY. He retired from Production Control Units of Dayton, OH in 1988. Since 1988 he has been a co owner of Electro-Cap in Eaton, OH. A 1949 graduate of Jackson High School in Preble County OH; he served in the U.S. Army from 1952 thru 1954; served in the Ohio National Guard till 1965; he attended the Eaton First Church of God. Preceded in death by his father: William Morgan Hardin in 1982.

Survived by his close friends: Helen P. Hardin and Nora Hancock both of Eaton, OH. Mother: Nora (Smith) Hardin of Eaton, OH. Children: Beverly A. (James) Hughes of Lynn, IN and Gerald A. (Patricia) Hardin of Tipp City, OH. Brothers: W. Nelson (Janet) Hardin of Eaton, OH, David (Mary) Hardin of Atlanta, GA, Meryl (Joyce) Hardin of Eaton, OH, Ronald Hardin of OH, Richard (Carol) Hardin of Eaton, OH. Sisters: Sarah (William) Campbell of Trotwood, OH, Sharon (Robert) Buckley of Richmond, IN. Four grandchildren, one great grandchild, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 24, 2006 - 11:00 a.m. at the Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, OH with Rev.Jerry Reynolds officiating. Interment will be in the Preble Memory Gardens at West Alexandria, OH with full military graveside honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard. Family will receive friends on Sunday July 23, 2006 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
