James G. Hannah, Sr.

James G. Hannah, Sr., age 65 of Lewisburg, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton. Born on July 25, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio, son of the late Nealy & Martha Mabel (Wright) Hannah.

Jim retired from General Motors after 28 years. He had served on the Englewood Honor Guard for several years. Avid guitar player and enjoyed music.

Preceded by his wife of 42 years, Nancy Lee (Boyd) Hannah in 2020; son, Jeffrey D. Hannah in 2007; sister, Barbara (Hannah) Walter in 2021; brother, Bernerd H. “Bud” Hannah in 2014.

Survived by his son, James G. (Jessica) Hannah, Jr.; daughter, Sarah E. (Corey) Wise; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister, Ruth (Larry) Weller; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 P.M., Friday, May 27, 2022 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce, Lewisburg, Ohio. Interment will be held at Sugar Grove Cemetery, St. Rt. 503 N, West Alexandria, Ohio. Family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
