James Allison Thompson

James A. Thompson, 79 of Eaton, Ohio, died Wednesday, December 30, 2020 in Hamilton, Ohio. Born on October 12, 1941 in Eaton, Ohio, he was the son of the late James Elliott and Flora Mae (Weaver) Thompson. He retired in 2001 from Parker Hannifin. He was a 1959 Eaton High School graduate and loved attending Auctions and Flea Markets. 

Survived by his Children: Cynthia “Cindy” Thompson, Terri (Jim) Othersen and James A. “Jamie” Thompson, Jr.; Half Sister: Stephanie Acton; Grandchildren: Heather (Ryan) Blackburn, Stacey Nutt, Abigail Marie Good; Great Grandchildren: Reilley Elam & Jada Blackburn. 

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio with Pastor Bryan Hoskins officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton. Family will receive friends on Thursday one hour prior to service at the funeral home.   

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, you are required to wear a facemask in the funeral home and practice social distancing.
