Jack Woodrow Vun Cannon

Jack W. Vun Cannon, 75 of Arcanum, OH, died Sunday, January 5, 2020 at his residence. Born on January 17, 1944 in Dayton, OH, he was the son of the late Jesse W. & Doris L. (Heaviland) Vun Cannon. Jack had worked with his father at Van’s Super Service in Eaton, an Eaton High School graduate and served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. Jack retired from Emery/UPS Cargo in Vandalia. Preceded in death by his Wife: Carolyn Sue (Rose) Vun Cannon in 2007; Son: Jack Steven Vun Cannon in 1997; Sisters: Nancy Carol Fletcher and Joan Jeanette Sloan. 

Survived by his Brother: Barry C. (Joan) Vun Cannon; Caregivers; Steven (Kathy) Smith. Grandnephew: James A. (Shellie) Vun Cannon; Grandnieces: Debbie L. (Eugene) Gilmore and Lynn M. (Gregory) Sullivan. 

Family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH. The Preble County Honor Guard will conduct Military Honors at 10:45 A.M. prior to the service at 11:00 A.M. Dr. Joe LeMaster will officiate the service.
