Jack L. Allen

JACK L. ALLEN, age 83, of Kettering, Ohio, died Wednesday, February 8, 2006 at the Oaks of West Kettering. Born on July 14, 1922 in Minford, Ohio, he was the son of the late Leslie O. & Olive D. (Dodds) Allen. Jack retired in 1978 after 32 years with Delco Products in Dayton. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Preceded in death by wife: Catherine L. Stack in 2005; sisters: Fay Ryan, Rowena McLaughlin, Elaine Conkel, Juanita Armstrong, & Evelyn Darnell.

Survived by sister: Maxine Kallner of Minford, Ohio; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will held on Saturday, February 11, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street - Eaton, Ohio with Rev. J. Thomas Fitzsimmons officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton, Ohio with full military services provided by the Preble County Honor Guard. Family will receive friends on Saturday, February 11, 2006 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
