Jack W. Koeller

Jack W. Koeller, age 89 of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Sunday, July 30, 2023 in Brookville, Ohio. Born on December 11, 1933 in Lewisburg, Ohio, he was the son of the late Herbert C. & Hannah (Etzler) Koeller.

Jack was a 1951 graduate of Lewisburg Union High School where he was active in baseball and belonged to the Boy Scouts of America and Phi Theta Pi International Fraternity. He served in the U.S. Army from 1954 – 1956 in the 510^th Signal Corps at Ft. Monmouth, New Jersey. A 1960 graduate with an associate degree in Higher Accounting from Miami Jacobs in Dayton. After graduating, he worked in accounting for Marathon Oil in Findlay, Ohio and later served as Clerk/Treasurer and Cemetery Sexton for Harrison Township Trustees from 1975 until his retirement in 1996. He loved golfing, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his Brothers: James Richard (Bona) Koeller, John Edward Koeller, and Jerry Lee (Kathi) Koeller

Survived by Nieces: Deborah (Guy) Harmon, Teresa (Kenneth) Hartman, and Nancy Koeller; Great Nieces: Cassandra (Nico) Grondin, Jennifer Hartman; Great Nephews: Jay Harmon, Kenneth (Ashley) Hartman, and David L. Fasick; Great Great Nieces and Nephews: Guillaume, Gabrielle, Cameron, Liam, Kayden, Charlotte, Lucille, and a host of friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 3, 2023, at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce Street, Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. David O. Justis officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn, Lewisburg, Ohio. The Family will receive friends on Thursday from 11:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
