Jack E. Juday

Jack E. Juday, 74, of New Paris, OH, died Friday, November 25, 2011 at his residence. He was born on May 8, 1937 in New Paris, OH the son of the late Edward O. & Martha M. (Jones) Juday. Jack was a 1955 Jefferson High School graduate and was the Co-owner operator of Jones & Juday, Inc. in New Paris retiring in 1998. He served on the New Paris Fire Department for 16 years serving as the Chief from 1968 to 1973. Jack also served on the Village Council and the Board of Public Affairs of New Paris. Member and Elder of the First United Presbyterian Church of New Paris, Sons of American Legion and the 530 Club. Preceded in death by brother: Jim Juday in 2009 and sister: Jannan O. Juday in 1956.

Survived by his loving wife of 54 years: June (Atkins) Juday; sons: Jason Juday of Mesa, AZ, Eric Juday of High Point, NC and Patrick & wife Krenta Juday of Indianapolis; daughter: Charlotte Personette of Richmond, IN; brother: Jerry Juday of West Alexandria, OH; cousins: William E. & Pauletta Sweet of New Paris, OH and niece: Jeryl Sims of New Paris, OH; grandchildren: Brandon Juday, Matt Juday and Tiffany Hill; great grandchildren: Alison Juday, Zander Juday and Sophia Hill; close cousin: Joan Steinberger of New Paris.

Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at the First United Presbyterian Church 15 North Spring St. New Paris, OH with Robert Dungan officiating. Interment will be held in Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris, OH.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at the church.
