J. Gary Via

J. Gary Via, 69, of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Friday, January 1, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, OH. Born on August 8, 1946 in Dayton, OH he was the son of Joe S. & Mary E. (Sensenbaugh) Via. Gary had been a Preble County Farmer all of his life. He attended Lewisburg First United Church of Christ and was a member of First Baptist Church in Brookville. Preceded in death by his father in March 2000.

Survived by his wife of 49 years: Janet I. (Yoder) Via; sons & daughters-in-law: Greg & Angie Via of Lewisburg, OH and Galen & Shanna Via of Englewood, OH; mother: Mary E. Via of Lewisburg, OH; 6 grandchildren: Shelbi, Brandon, Micah, Caleb, Seth and Luke Via.

Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH with the funeral service 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev. David O. Justis officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg.
