Irvin Lee Bridgeford

Irvin Lee Bridgeford, 75, of Eaton, Ohio, died Monday, May 6, 2024, at Kettering Health, Preble Campus with his family by his side. He was born on September 29, 1948, in Hamilton, Ohio, son of the late Rawn H. and Thelma Emmaline “Emmie” (Patterson) Bridgeford. Irvin was a retired machine operator having worked at Westvaco (now International Paper) in Eaton for 43 years. Irvin was a kind soul and was loved by everyone who knew him and will be sadly missed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Irvin Lee Bridgeford, Jr. and Anthony Scott Bridgeford; brothers, Lonnie, Trevor and Herman Bridgeford; sisters, Reba Sue Alcorn and Rose Ann Reynolds; sisters-in-law, Ronni Bridgeford, Evelyn Bridgeford, Maxine Schwab and Joann Nickell; brothers-in-law, Arlie Alcorn, Jr., Bobby Reynolds, Jack Nickell and Bob Schwab.

Survived by his wife of 57 years, Pauline (Fike) Bridgeford, whom he married on August 27, 1966; brother, Herbert Bridgeford; sister and brother-in-law, Debra (Hubert) Ledford; sister-in-law, Charlene Bridgeford; brother-in-law, Joe (Barb) Nickell; special son, John (Summer) Nickell; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Barnes Funeral Homes, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio with Pastor Jeff Bridgeford officiating. Interment will be held in Fairmount Cemetery, Camden, Ohio. The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
