Irene Olinger

IRENE OLINGER, age 73, of Middletown, Ohio and formerly of Lewisburg, died Sunday, January 14, 2007 at her residence. Born on November 23, 1933 in Stanton, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Mountz and Eunice (Wells) McKinney. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post # 975 in Lewisburg, where she lived prior to her move to Middletown 25 years ago. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband: Roy Olinger in 1992 and seven siblings.

She is survived by her children: Roy Daniel Olinger of Lewisburg, James Walter Olinger of Illinois, Robert Olinger of Utah, Barbara Ann Olsen of Eaton, Jesse Wayne Olinger of Lewisburg, Ira Phillip Olinger of New Lebanon, Ohio, Timothy Rand Olinger of Lewisburg, Kendall Lynn Olinger of Eaton, Opal Kay Vandemark of Indiana, Richard Anderson Olinger, Rolly Dale Olinger and Blanche Melinda Gordon all of Middletown, Ohio. Numerous grandchildren and Numerous Great grandchildren; one brother in Georgia and eight sisters in Kentucky.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at the Barnes Funeral Home- 411 North Commerce Street- Lewisburg, Ohio 45338 with Rev. George Pennington officiating. Interment will be held in Verona Cemetery in Verona, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 16, 2007 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
