Ida B. Hofacker

IDA B. HOFACKER, age 81, of Evansville, Indiana and formerly of Eaton, Ohio, died Sunday, April 15, 2007 after a long illness. She was born on May 16, 1925 in Oldtown, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Lowell & Alice (Smith) Stephens. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard in 2001; four brothers; Ernest Stephens, L.D. Stephens, Andy Stephens and William Stephens; three sisters; Gladys Stephens, Eunice Hardin and Tiny May. Ida was a member of The First Baptist Church of Lehigh Acres, Florida where she and her husband Richard were active before moving to Evansville when Richard became ill.

Ida is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law; Lynda and Gary Duke of Ft. Myers, Florida, Pat and Dave Tucker of Evansville, Indiana, Karen and Bob Adams of Santa Ana, California and Cindy Tougher of Florida. Son and daughter-in-law; Mike and Tammy Hofacker of Ft. Myers, Florida. Ten Grandchildren, Shelly(Tony) Buccieri of Cypress, Texas, Tiffany(Rodney)Todd of Alva, Florida, Greg(Patti)Daily of Newburgh, Indiana, Gretchen(David) Curry of Eaton, Ohio, Nick and Steve Adams of Santa Ana, California, Krystal and Chris Hofacker of Ft.Myers, Florida, Georgina and Rachel Tougher of Florida; sisters and brother-in-law; Mae Lewis of Greenup, Kentucky; Mary French of Medway, Ohio; Opha Baldridge of South Shore, Kentucky, Deane Veach of Arcadia, Florida and June and Melvin Vansickle of Medway, Ohio; brother and sister-in-law; Clyde and Wanda Stephens of Fostoria, Ohio; nine great grandchildren, Katie Todd of Cypress, Texas; Josh, Jake, Hannah and Faith Todd of Alva, Florida; Bradley, Blake and Molly Curry of Eaton, Ohio and Hanna Daily of Newburgh, Indiana.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at Barnes Funeral Home-220 East Main Street- Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Melvin Vansickle officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton. Family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
