Howard A. Carr

Howard A. Carr, Jr. age 79 of Brookville, Ohio died Sunday, October 8, 2023, at Maple Gardens in Eaton, Ohio. Born in Glen Jean, West Virginia on October 11, 1943, he was the son of the late Howard Albert & Hazel (Conley) Carr, Sr. Howard was an outdoors man that loved horses, fishing, hunting, and old classic country music.  He was a U.S. Navy airman on the USS Forrestal based in Jacksonville, Florida and worked in the refrigeration industries and owned several businesses during his career and traveled all over the United States. 

He was preceded in death by two siblings, Gloria Ann Carr and Benny Carr.

Survived by his children, Bill & Jackie Carr of West Palm Beach, FL, Stephanie & Mike McVay of Mint Hill, NC and Gregg & Lynn Carr of Alva, FL., seven grandchildren: Holly Lanier, Heather Carr, Alex Carr, Zachary Erwin, Hannah Lucero, Abby Carr and Lily McVay; siblings: Juanita Hanson, Sue Welker (Bill),Twila Johnson, Jean Fleshman (Ronnie), Brenda Harris, Lynda Gibson (Rob) and Justin Carr (Jan), and by his partner and love Patricia Swann.
