Herman O. Baker, Jr.

Herman O. Baker, Jr., age 85, of Lewisburg, OH, died Sunday, February 21, 2016 at his residence. Born on July 12, 1930 in Eldorado, OH, he was the son of the late Herman O. and Tecy M. (Shurte) Baker, Sr. He was a retired mechanical contractor for Weaver and Sons Inc, Brookville, OH. A 1948 graduate of Lewisburg Union High School, U.S. Army Korean War Veteran, member of the V.F.W. in Lewisburg and Brookville.

Preceded in death by his Wife: Zelma June (Deeter) Baker in 2002; Brothers: Harold E., Kenneth R., David L. and Ralph J. Baker; Sister: Doris I. Hunter.

Survivors include Daughters & Son-in-law: Shirley (Louis) Warren, Lewisburg, OH, Cindy (Paul Cabrera) Whitmire, Dayton, OH, Teresa (Jim Carmony) Jackson, Lewisburg, OH; Brother: Jackie L. Baker, Arcanum, OH. 9 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, Numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

A Private Funeral Service will be held at the convenience of the family. Inurnment will be held in Royal Oak Memorial Gardens, Brookville, OH. Arrangements entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home, Lewisburg, OH.
