Herman Combs

Herman Combs, age 86 of Somerville, OH, died Saturday, July 13, 2013 at his residence. Born on March 12, 1927 in Levi, KY he was the son of the late Ace & Georgiann Combs. Herman served in the U.S. Army during W.W. II and U.S. Air Force during Korean War. He was an inspector for 27 years at Harrison Radiator in Dayton and served as a minister at the Church of God in Jesus. Preceded in death by his wife of 63 years: Eunice (Baker) Combs in 2011; sisters: Ollie Peters and Fern Crawford; brothers: Allen Combs, Bascom Combs, Ernest Combs, William Henry Combs, Joseph D. Combs, Ray Combs and Lerman Combs.

Survived by son & daughter-in-law: Timothy W. & Shawnda F. Combs of Somerville, OH; sister: Mabel Baker of Camden, Oh and Grandchildren: Dylan Combs, Gabriel Combs, Toria Trenum and Jessica Reece.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at the Church of God in Jesus, 5604 West Alexandria Road, Middletown, Ohio with pastor Arnold Brewer officiating. Entombment will be in Butler County Memorial Park – Trenton, Ohio with military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard.
