Helen L. Oldfather

HELEN L. OLDFATHER, age 90, of Eaton, Ohio died Monday, August 22, 2005 at Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton. Born on May 29, 1915 in Camden, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Arthur S. & Alma C. (Reese) LaMar. Helen was a 1933 Camden High School graduate, an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Eaton and was a Past President of Theta Mu Chapter of Delta Theta Tau Sorority and a Charter member of the Theta Mu Alpha Alumnae Association. Preceded in death by Husband: Clarence E. Oldfather in 2000; Brothers: Gordon LaMar in 1983 and William R. LaMar in 1997.

Survived by Daughters & Sons-in-law: Sharon & Wally Kramer, Eaton, Ohio, Carolyn & William Hoover, Vandalia, Ohio; Son & Daughter-in-law: Nevin & Carol Oldfather, Columbus, Ohio; Sister: Martha Kelly, Liberty, Indiana; 7 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren. Nieces & Nephews.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 26, 2005 - 11:00 A.M. (Ohio Time) at the First Presbyterian Church - 123 West Decatur Street - Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Wayne D. Morrison officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton. Family will receive friends on Thursday, August 25, 2005 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. (Ohio Time) at the Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street - Eaton, Ohio and one hour prior to the service at the church.
