Helen L. Holliday

Helen L. (Hinerman) Holliday, 87, of New Paris, OH, died Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Friendship Village in Trotwood, OH. Born on October 2, 1926 in Marshall County, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Isaac William Nelson & Bessie Lenora (Shaw) Hinerman. Helen was a member of the Full Gospel Temple in Eaton, OH and is preceded by her husband, Michael Albert Holliday in 2001; son, Joseph D. Holliday in 1987; daughters, Farilyn Holliday in 2005 and Zendy G. Holliday in 1985; grandsons, Thomas Michael Unger in 1979; Dean Allen Chowning in 1977 and Joseph William Paul Holliday; great granddaughter, Emalyn Chowning; brother, George A. Hinerman and sister, Wanda Schrieber.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Michael W. & Donna Holliday of Cayuga, IN and Melvin Raymond Paul Holliday of New Paris; daughters and sons-in-law, Diane L. & Trent Unger of Lewisburg, OH and Ellen L. & Larry Perry of Fountain City, IN; daughter–in-law, Shirley Lawlyes of Covington, IN; grandchildren, Chuck Holliday, Michelle (Peter) Heavilin, Dave Holliday, Christa (Jon) VanSant, April Thomas, Danny (Karen) Chowning, Heather Gregg, Jamie (Sheena) Chowning, Angel (Josiah) Maxwell, Jody (Vince) Navejas, Jason Holliday; great grandchildren, Carly, Michael, Bradly, Shaun, Bobby, Kayla, Ashlea, Jerod, Jordan, Logan, Kailee, Kamara, Hannah, Easton, Mason, Calen and Kyah; step granddaughters, Amanda (Eugene) Gregory and Crystal (Braun) Roosa; step great grandchildren, Cody, Austin, Parker, Alexander, Daughton, Ashley and Justin; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH, with the funeral service immediately following at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Raymond Rothwell and Rev. Kenneth Harbaum officiating. Interment will be held in Greenmound Cemetery in New Madison, OH.
