Helen L. Craig

Helen L. (Pelfrey) Craig, 90, of Jacksonburg, Ohio died, Sunday, March 29, 2015, at Astoria Health & Rehab Center in Germantown, Ohio. She was born on November 15, 1924 in West Liberty, Kentucky, daughter of the late James O. & Bertha (Elam) Pelfrey. She was owner & operator of Cameo Beauty Salon in Jacksonburg, Ohio for most of her life. The family would like to thank the staff of Astoria Health & Rehab Center and Crossroads Hospice for all their Love & Care.

In addition to her parents, Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard T. Craig in 1992; son, Thomas Craig; sisters, Jean Marler and Jewell Beatty.

She is survived by her son, James (Sandra) Craig of Jacksonburg, Ohio; granddaughters, Cyndi (Joe) Walters of Germantown, Ohio, Christy (Greg) Shackleford of Camden, Ohio and Alicia (Benji) Gutman of Batavia, Ohio; great grandchildren, Colton, Alexis and Justin.

Private Graveside Services will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date. Interment will be held in Fairview Cemetery in Gratis, Ohio. Arrangements entrusted to Nein-Barnes Funeral Home, 249 N. Main St., Camden, Ohio.
