Helen Ireland Dalrymple

Helen Ireland Dalrymple, 100, formerly of Lewisburg, Ohio died Sunday, October 31, 2010 at Hearth at Prestwick in Avon, Indiana. Helen was born on January 7, 1910 in Hartington, Nebraska the daughter of the late Jessy & Bertha (Lane) Kemp. She was a graduate of Miami University and a school teacher for two years at Carlisle, Ohio and 18 years at Glendale in the Princeton District of Cincinnati, Ohio until retirement in 1977. In March of 1937 she was married to Kannel Ireland who died in 1977. They served in the Ohio Ministry in churches in Brimfield, Phillipsburg, Wares Chapel, Lewisburg, Miamisburg and Hamilton, Ohio from 1946 until 1963. In June of 1977 she married Newton Dalrymple who died in 2004.

Survived by sons & daughters-in-law: Ronald & Pat Ireland of Indianapolis, IN and Donald D. & Linda Ireland of Avon, IN. Step-son & daughter-in-law: Tom & Carolyn Dalrymple of Texas and step daughter Jeanie Bachman of Ohio; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at Barnes Funeral Home 411 North Commerce Street Lewisburg, Ohio with Pastor Ron Branson officiating. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, OH Family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. prior to the service on Wednesday.
