HELEN GROH-HAGEMAN-JACKSON, age 89, of Eaton, Ohio and formerly of Middletown, Ohio died Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at the Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton following an extended illness. Born on March 20, 1917 in Hamilton, Ohio she was the daughter of the late George & Pelada (Wresinski) Groh. She had resided in Eaton for the past eight years and was a member of the Visitation Catholic Church. She was a proud member of the Bonco Club in Middletown and the Red Hat Society in Eaton. She is preceded in death by her first husband:Elmer Hegeman in 1980 and her second husband: Clayton R. Jackson in 1992; several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by daughter & son-in-law: Shirley & Robert Belcher of Eaton, Ohio; Grandchildren: Colette & Dean Osborne and Steven Campbell both of Middletown, Ohio, Great Grandchildren: Steve C. & Alishea Campbell, Phillip Campbell and Jessica Osborne; Great Great Granddaughter: Ava Campbell. Nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, November 20, 2006 at the Visitation Catholic Church-407 East Main Street-Eaton, Ohio with Rev. J. Thomas Fitzsimmons officiating. Interment will be held in St. Stephen’s Cemetery in Hamilton, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Monday, November 20, 2006 from 10:00 to 11:45 a.m. at the Barnes Funeral Home- 220 East Main Street- Eaton, Ohio.
