Helen A. (Markey) Martin, 68, of New Paris, OH went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 29, 2015. Born on February 11, 1947 in Richmond, IN, daughter of the late Gerald O. & Hazel M. (Ruby) Markey.

Helen was a 1965 graduate of Richmond High School in Richmond, IN. Former Member of First Baptist Church in New Paris, OH and Member of Gospel Baptist Church in New Paris, OH. Helen was also a Member of Bible Study Fellowship in Richmond, IN for many years.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, William David Martin of New Paris, OH; son & daughter-in-law, David & Tracy Martin of Centerville, OH; daughter, Felicia McNutt of West Carrollton, OH; 5 grandchildren, Samuel Martin, Justin (Katie) Hickman, Megan (Kyle) Bailey, Jordan (Brittany) Hickman and Tyler Hickman; 6 great grandchildren, Madalyn, Lillyan, Jacob, Ethen, Avery & Austen; brother & sister-in-law, Jerry & Diane Markey of New Paris, OH and their children, Tina, Amanda & Amy.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, June 5, 2015 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St., New Paris, OH with Rev. Gil Smith and Rev. Randy Tate officiating. Interment will be held at Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris, OH.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at the funeral home in New Paris.
