Heather Ann Shingledecker

Heather (Roesle) Shingledecker, 53, of Lewisburg, OH, left this world on Monday August 2, 2021, surrounded by her Mom, Husband and Children at Kettering Hospital. Heather was born February 9, 1968 in Dayton, OH to Joseph and Elaine Roesle.

Heather was an avid Christmas lover. She spent most of her time helping in the family business with her mom (Elaine) along with being the best mom to her children. Heather attended Precious Blood in her first years of school, she then finished up and was a 1986 Graduate at Tri- County North in Lewisburg. Heather loved going to Europe every December with her mom, followed by Atlanta in January where she got to see all her friends she met from helping in the family business. Her greatest joy in life came from staying home with her children, her dogs, family vacations and loving her sweet new grandbaby.  

Heather is preceded in death by her Dad, Joseph Anthony Roesle III, Grandparents Tom and Lynn Daly, Joe and Martha Roesle, and Uncle Tom Roesle.

Heather is survived by her husband Donnie Shingledecker of 27 years, her sons Donovan and Nicholas Shingledecker, her daughter and son in-law Caitlynn ( Gage) Rhodus, her mom Elaine Roesle, brother and sister in-law Joe ( Tracy) Roesle, her sister in-law, Aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and the Light of her Life, her grandbaby Theo Rhodus.

There will be a celebration of her life at The Lewisburg Community center August 15th from 1-5pm. We ask those who stop by to please bring a copy of a picture of you and Heather together if you have one! The family would like to keep them as pictures are precious to us right now.

The family would like to say thank you to the Lewisburg Community, Golden Glow, New Carlisle Eagles, friends and family for all the support and prayers over the last few weeks.
