Hazel W. Leedy Call, 83, of Eaton, OH, died Monday, February 25, 2013 at her residence. Born on September 25, 1929 in Eaton, OH, she was the daughter of the late Walter L. & Rosie E. (Showalter) Weir. Hazel was a 1947 graduate of Eaton High School and had worked as a teller for Winters Bank in the Dayton area for many years. She was an easement donor for the Three Valley Conservation Trust and was a member of the Eaton United Church of Christ. She loved bird watching, wildflowers, cooking, sewing and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by Husbands: Charles J. "Chuck" Leedy in 1991 and Daril D. Call in 2000; Daughter: Kay Lynn Guckian in 2009; Brothers: Fred Weir in 2002 and Tom W. Weir in 2007; Sister: Marie E. Moore in 1983.
Survived by Son & Daughter-in-law: James A. (Amy) Leedy, Eaton, OH; Daughters & Son-in-law: Kathy (Ron) Eilert, Eaton, OH and Kristy (Patty) Dillon, Dayton, OH; Son-in-law: John E. Guckian, Eaton, OH; Stepchildren: Dean (Susan) Call, Eaton, OH and Michael (Debbie) Call, Greenville, South Carolina. Grandchildren: Ann Hall, Jill Brumbaugh, Matthew Dillon, Marcy Van Ausdal, Scott Leedy, Laura Guckian. Step Grandchildren: Tony Call, Travis Call, Brandy Wiemers, Lindsay Call and Diane Call. 5 great grandchildren, 8 step great Grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Eaton United Church of Christ, 113 West Decatur St., Eaton, OH with Rev. Roger L. Stine and Elder Larry Bower officiating. Interment will be held in Sugar Grove Cemetery, West Alexandria, OH. Family will receive friends on Saturday, one hour prior to service at the church. Arrangements entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home, Eaton, OH.
