Hazel E. Cottingim

HAZEL E. COTTINGIM, age 95, of Camden, OH, died, Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at the Knolls of Oxford. Born on November 6, 1913 in London, KY, she was the daughter of the late William Arthur & Amanda (Jones) George. She enjoyed her life as a homemaker on the family farm. She loved baking and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had been a cook at Preble Shawnee High School and was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Camden.

Preceded in death by her Husband: William Leslie Cottingim, Sons: William Eddie Cottingim and Earl Cottingim; Brother: John Ancil George; Sisters: Gladys Robinson, Goldie Rudder, Eula Cottingim and Vina Cottingim.

Survived by her children: Janet Gibbs, Chesapeake, VA, Ruth (Burdette) Ehrhardt, Camden, OH, Faye (Robert) Ketring, Camden, OH, Michael (Rhonda) Cottingim, Camden, OH; Daughter-in-law: Karen Cottingim, Camden, OH; 17 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at the First Southern Baptist Church, 35 North Liberty Street, Camden, OH with Pastor Greg Jackson officiating. Interment will be held in Fairmount Cemetery in Camden. Family will receive friends on Saturday, September 5, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the church.
