Harold L. Mcveigh

Harold L. McVeigh, age 82, formerly of Eaton, Ohio, died Monday, August 22, 2005 at his daughters residence in Winfield, Illinois. Born April 4, 1923 in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of the late Harry B. & Frieda (Stohlman) McVeigh. Harold had been living at Wynscape Nursing Center in Wheaton, Illinois. He graduated from Walnut Hills High School of Cincinnati, Ohio in 1942. He was a Advertising Business Executive at Needham, Harper, & Steers in Chicago, Illinois for 28 years. He also served in the US Army during World War II from 1943 to 1946. Preceeded in death by his Wife of 53 years: Ruth M. McVeigh in 2004; Sister: Virginia McVeigh in 1970; Granddaughter: Lindsay Johnson.

Survived by his Daughters & sons-in-law: Caryn A. & Tim Schultz of Dayton, Ohio, Colleen A. McVeigh of Winfield, Illinois, and Connie A. & Rich Johnson of Urbandale, Iowa. Six Grandchildren: Michael Schultz, Anna Schultz, Sara McVeigh, Krista McVeigh, Ryan Johnson, and Caely Johnson.

Graveside Services will be held at 12:00 PM (Illinois Time) on Saturday, August 27, 2005 at Wheaton Cemetery in Wheaton , Illinois.
