Harold L. Kouts

HAROLD L. KOUTS, age 74 of Lewisburg, Ohio died Thursday, February 13, 2003, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton after injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Lewisburg, Ohio. Born on July 31, 1928, in Lewisburg, Ohio, he was the son of the late Jesse R. & Ella May (Shively) Kouts. He retired in 1982 after 36 years at Delco Products in Dayton. A 1946 Lewisburg High School graduate and member of the Lewisburg United Methodist Church and Preble County Farm Bureau. Preceded in death by Brothers: Ralph D. Kouts in 1987, Charles Kouts in 1993 and Francis Kouts in 2002.

Survived by Wife of 54 years: Irene E. (Falldorf) Kouts; Sons & Daughter-in-law: Roy & Anita Kouts, West Alexandria, Ohio, Larry Kouts, Kettering, Ohio; Daughter & Son-in-law: Nancy & Albert Lockwood, Lewisburg, Ohio; Sister: Ruth Olinger, Lewisburg, Ohio; Brothers: Robert Kouts, West Milton, Ohio, Billy Joe Kouts, Lewisburg, Ohio, Russell Kouts, Port Clinton, Ohio. 11 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2003 - 10:30 A.M. at the Barnes Funeral Home - 411 North Commerce Street - Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. David O. Justis & Rev. Jerry Carter officiating. Interment will be held in Sugar Grove Cemetery, West Alexandria, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 19, 2003 from 4 - 7 P.M. at Barnes Funeral Home - 411 North Commerce St. - Lewisburg, Ohio.
